1. I am thankful that even though I've been surrounded by the seasonal flu, H1N1 flu, and various viruses I have remained relatively healthy. A measly cold with a stuffy nose is nothing compared to what I've seen!2. I'm thankful that we cancelled our field trip that was scheduled for today. The weather looked threatening on Tuesday, so we went ahead and called it off. It turned out to be the right call! Nobody wants to go to the pumpkin patch in rainy 55* weather. We also have over a QUARTER of the kindergarten students out with one of the above illnesses!
3. I am thankful that Aaron decided not to go on a trip for work this week. He was suppose to be in Michigan all week, but since he was sick he cancelled his trip. I've enjoyed having him home to cuddle with on these cold nights!
4. I am thankful that my doctor was able to fit me in on such short notice when I called this morning. I'm also thankful that she was able to calm my suspicions and that nothing is wrong! Praise God!
5. I am thankful that my cousin's baby was born healthy and handsome on Sunday night. Ryan Lucas 10/10/09 @ 7:31PM 7lb. 8oz. 21in. Congratulations Ashley!!
